For Survivors

You’ll find an incredible community of survivors and co-survivors at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. Survivors and co-survivors gather to celebrate and support one another in an atmosphere of genuine camaraderie. It is their inspiring spirit that energizes us to continue the fight to end breast cancer forever and their fundraising efforts that encourage other participants to be #MoreThanPinkKC.

Survivors Pavilion & Survivors Parade

Join us in the Survivors Pavilion between 300P and 800P on Race Day. Survivors and one (1) guest are invited to visit the pavilion on Race Day for some extra special pampering, gifts, food, drink, music and more! Please be sure to wear your PINK Race bib to indicate you are a breast cancer survivor.

Our annual breast cancer survivors parade will take place at (approx.) 615P. This will be preceded by a special luminary celebration involving everyone on campus.

Survivors wishing to be part of the parade should meet in the Survivor Pavilion by 600P.

For more information on how to join the fight please visit our Fundraising 101 page to help raise funds to end this terrible disease.
